Many of you must have already read all the reviews I just wanted to add my 10 cents of what I believe would be a great Marketing Plot for Lucas Arts. They should have an ELITE EDITION of the New StarWars OLD REPUBLIC GAME coming out 2010 and charge $150.00 and have it include this LighSaber with the Elite Edition Similar to MODERN WARFARE 2 having an Elite Edition which Includes NIGHT VISION GOGGLES!!!! Just a Thought Pass it ON!

My son was so excited to get this item. He had been wanting one for a long time, and we finally got him one for his 10th birthday. This is actually supposed to be a collector’s item for adults, but my son is very particular with his toys and is very careful with it. However, the lightsaber did not function properly after the first several days. It would not make the correct sounds and would not even cut on sometimes. We would take the batteries out and put them back in, and it would work for a little while and then do the same thing. I called Amazon and told them about the problem, and they were great! They ordered us another one with no charge and sent it to us within a couple of days. The new one seems to be working well now. I just hope it stays that way. This item is not cheap, so you would expect it to work properly for a long time. Amazon was very customer-friendly in dealing with this problem. I would order from them again.
Fun product…I use it during balance and stretching exercises…Adds to the experience…It was a hit along with my Yoda costume at this year’s Halloween party.
