Motel owners open kids’ clothing store in a room
The owners of the Carmi Motel have opened a children’s clothing store in Room 24 at the motel. Wadie and Hanan Issawi made the announcement this week. Their store is called Carmi Rainbow Kids Clothing & More and features new, brand name clothing for children from newborn up to 8 years old.

What stores do you recommend for buying men’s clothing that is made well and is inexpensive? Some department stores have great prices but quality is an problem (more with the cut of the clothes than with the material, but material can be weird also). For some reason, I can never find clothes that fit right at Kohl’s, but I’ve had better success with Sam’s Club. I’m just looking for mainstays: jeans, cordoroy pants, oxfords, sweaters; nothing really trendy. Where do you typically have success buying men’s clothes?
Maybe I’m unusually active, but I wear out clothes quite fully. Sometimes, the more expensive clothing (Banana Republic, J. Crew) has proved to be the most delicate. I’m looking for strong stitching and normal or forgiving cuts (for a man, I have a butt that really sticks out even though I’m slender otherwise). Anything else spring to mind for people?
